CORONATION STREET SPOILERS STORIES NEWS and MUCH MORE:
Corrie bosses are bracing themselves for a backlash from lovers of all things French after they OK'd several bits of dialouge bashing France in the exit story for Ashley & Claire. Ashley says all they eat is onions. Lloyd says all they do is gurn & shrug their shoulders and Steve says their president is in the pockets of the Germans... all true then!!!
Kym Marsh is to excape the axe when the viaduct collapses - Oh well... we can't have everything. Her character Michelle will get some juicy new storylines after moving form behind the bar at the Rovers to take up a job as sales manager at the Underworld knicker factory and to work with her sister in law Carla - she becomes so popular that she'll also turn down an offer to work at the new The Joinery bar for Nick Tilsley. Look... lets get it straight - it's not that we think her acting is that bad... it's just that we don't like the way she conducts herself in her private life... if she even just came clean about her volatile relationship with so called fiance Jamie it would help us to warm towards her a tad.
Hit play 'Corrie' which tries to squeeze all the 7400 episodes into a two hour stage play is to move to London and its creators are hoping it will prove a massive West End hit.
This mystery character adopting one of the less favourable traits of the premier league by pulling her shirt over her head after scoring is non other than Becky McDonald. Becky plays footie with hubbie Steve on a location shoot in Lightoakes Park in Salford near to the studios. Becky and Steve are enjoying a day out in the park with Steve's daughter Amy and Becky's half sister Kylie's son Max. The episode will be screened in October.
Things never change. Good to see Kevin Kennedy back on a Corrie set even if it's only for scenes for the 50th Anniversary DVD. He's here on location in Manchester in just his boxers larking about on set with Helen Flanagan who's also in the DVD and plays a model promoting the very latest in must drink beer... 'Strumpet Ale'. Kevin will be linking up again with Ken Morley as Reg Holdsworth in the the slap happy one off titled 'A Knights Tale'
Here's Michelle Keegan getting in the mood for the premiership kick off and sporting Newcastle colours with this figure hugging maxi dress and making the most of the last of the Manchester sunshine for this year. Michelle is pictured here leaving the studios and going to catch up on a bit of shopping. Her ever growing hair is leading to rumours she's being lined up for the latest Lady Godiva movie. We'll certainly be first in the queue for tickets if that's the case.
Pretty Paula Lane is pictured here filming on location as Becky McDonald's out of control Kylie. Here she's being collected by her brother in law Steve.
Ageless Ken Morley looking exactly the same after his long absense from anything Corrie and appearing on set for the 50th Birthday DVD. Obviously advertising double glazing pays almost as well as being a soap star! Good to see him back though. Here in WGHQ we think that Corrie have never replaced the chemistry that Reg & Curly enjoyed. Take note Mr Collinson!!!
Put October 22nd in your diaries if you want to get your periodic fix of Rosie dressed in well... very little really!!! Rosie will be on a job modelling a very sexy new range of bras & knickers when she's joined on camera by Jason who steps in as a male model.
And for female viewers Jason will also be dressed only in the skimpiest of briefs as the two of them get all 'hot & bothered' fondling for the camera. But the real action will come when the two lusted up lovers arrive back at Rosie's house. After tearing at each others clothes and eating each others faces... the 'sex buddy' lovers bounce off the sofa & fall onto the floor before consumating their new relationship!!

Manchester's Gay Pride day is around the corner and apparently there's going to be float sponsored by ITV that will have several Hilda Ogden look a likes on board.
Not content with single handedly trying to ruin our great soap... new producer Phil Collinson is trying to shift the spotlight and blame for his obvious shortcomings by launching a hunt for the source of several storyline leaks that have appeared in the papers lately about various plots including 'The Great Train Crash'. Apparently smug Phil has spent a fortune on teams of 'spy catchers' and is having the studios regularly swept for listening devices. We say... 'Phil, your on dodgy ground here mate. If we were in your shoes we'd be spending our time reconsidering your dodgy ideas on where the Street is going rather than trying to slow down what's been happening for decades and will continue to happen for decades to come... long after you're history and after your successor has swept away your heavy handed changes!
Nick Tilsley's new bar 'The Joinery' is pictured taking shape here at the end of the Corrie Street set. It'll all look a lot different in December when a tram crashes through the viaduct above and lands on top of several of it's customers!!!
Ex Dr Who and new Corrie supremo Phil Collinson insists he's not an axeman... excuse us if we don't agree Phil.
We fear that Doctor Who's gain is Corrie's loss... no we haven't got that the wrong way round!!!
After he's diagnosed with incurrable cancer... Jack will compile a list of 'good deeds' he wants to do before he dies. Amongst them is to make some dreams come true for the friends and neigbours from his time in Weatherfield. First he buys 2 x top priced theatre tickets for Sally & then sends Julie a red rose.
Ben Thompson has become the first teenage victim of producer Phil Collinson following his announcement that the show was becoming too much like Hollyoaks.
We wish actor Geoffrey Hughes, his wife Sue & his family and friends all the best during a difficult time for them all as Geoffrey battles cancer. Geoffrey became a Corrie legend for his portrayal of binman Eddie Yeats. Geoffrey's performances whilst also starring in Keeping Up Appearances, Heartbeat & The Royle Family were unforgetable. Our thoughts are with him and Sue at this time.
Alison King arriving on a location shoot clutching script in hand to film her first scenes as an alcoholic. As her drinking spirals out of control Carla realises she needs help and turns up at the Weatherfield meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. But she chickens out and makes her excuses and leaves when she enters the meeting and sees recovering alkie Peter Barlow sat in the meet. She pretends she's really there to attend a Spanish lesson class. But Peter's suspicious and as he talks to her he smells the booze on her breath and recognises the symptoms. But Carla slips into denial and tells him to 'Butt Out' and mind his own business. Her business & personal life then spirals out of control.
Musician Paul Bowen has written a Coronation Street song to help raise money for the 'Help For Heroes' charity - 'If I Could Hear The Corrie Theme' can be heard and downloaded from Paul's 'myspace' site at www.myspace.com/paulbowenmusic or at his website:- www.paulbowenmusic.com
We take it all back... after often stating that Helen Flanagan runs second best in the 'looking sexy' stakes to several of her co-stars, we have to say she looks naturally stunning in an off duty moment vsisting a petrol station near her home. Wearing thigh length boots, skimpy top & skirt and a see through cardie - Helen certainly shows she's maturing very well indeed.
Great to see 'Bill Roache & Sons' filming together for their parts in the upcoming storyline as Ken, Lawrence & James. Ken looks proud and rightly so. It was a stroke of genious to bring in his real life sons Linus & James.
Tyrone seems to be coming off worse in this fight with a delivery driver. Ty's rushing on his way to be with Molly at the birth of their son 'Jack Junior' and finds the road blocked by 'white van man' making some deliveries. The two argue than come to blows. As a result poor old Ty misses the birth where the baby is delivered by Sally & Kevin. We say... footie fan Tyrone probably attacked the bloke because he looks like under-performing England manager capello. Yes we haven't spelt his name with a capital 'C' because the moron shouldn't even still be in a job.
HORRORNATION STREET... Producer Phil Collinson has said that 'much loved characters will be killed and injured' this winter when the famous Viaduct breaks up and a Tram crashes down on the cobbles.
Clever script writers have ensured that 'Jack' will live on in Corrie long after Bill Tarmey retires from playing the legend by giving his name to Molly & Tyrone's son.

Cute 'little' Chesney is to celebrate the show's 50th in his own special way by losing his virginity to sexy new teenage character Kat Armstrong... the sister of disabled wheelchair bound character Izzy. We say... lucky old Ches & where was Kat when we were all sweet 16? Apparently Kat (played by ex-Grangehill actress Georgia May Foote) is impressed that young Ches has his own market stall and has a few bob around him for one so young. After asking him out Kat seduces the lad... probably didn't take a lot of doing, and they become a bit of an item. But Kat's dad Owen is far less impressed at the news of Chesney's first sexual conquest and as Chesney will soon discover there's always a price to pay!!! - Time to join the real world Ches.
Loved up and desperate for a child of their own... Becky & Steve are to stumble across a ready made little package called Max. Devastated that she's unable to carry a baby full term, Becky decides to adopt but the red tape becomes restrictive so 'lo & behold' in comes Becky's long lost half sis Kylie to help out. Kylie's a wayward girl who has a son in care that Becky helps to be returned to Kylie's care but it soon becomes obvious Kylie is incapable of looking after the kid so... yep you guessed it - in steps Becky & Steve.
The baby boom contiues in Weatherfield when Fiz discovers she's joined the club. But this is Corrie and all will not run smoothly. Click on pic for story in The Sun.
Get me to the Church on time! When Hayley, Becky & Fiz are running late to get Hayley to her wedding they resort to the only form of transport available and hand pump their way to the venue. Click on pic for full story in The Sun.
By Eck!!! Stand by your beds... looks like Vera's coming back as a ghost and gives Jack her blessing to disappear into the sunset with fellow pigeon fancier Connie. In scenes sure to send rating through the roof.... Vera will tell Jack, "You enjoy yourself Chuck and when you're ready to join me up here... I'll be waiting" The reincarnation of Vera is part of ITV's plans to celebrate the 50th birthday of our beloved soap. Click on pic for full story in the SUN Newspaper.
Eighties phenomenon Lysette Anthony is the latest celebrity actress to join the cast. In 1980 16 year old Lysette was promoted as the face of the decade by photographer David Bailey and went on to be the most photographed girl in the country. She then found stardom in films acting alongside such acting legends as Michael Cain, Christopher Lee and Ben Kingsley. But don't blink and miss her because Lysette has been signed up for just one episode. She plays the character of Lydia who cad Lewis Archer will meet in an airport departure lounge on route to Barbados after cruelly dumping Audrey Roberts and fleecing bookie Peter Barlow out of thousands of pounds in a betting scam. Click on pic to see much more revealing pictures of a young Lysette in the SUN.
SO! Here's a little question for you... Who is this Corrie girl doing her duty as a top top citizen and helping a gentleman in a wheel chair who was struggling to get up a steep slope into a Manchester park? Clues: 1) She's always been one of our favourites 2) She used to have a right loser and a prat for a boyfriend 3) Her gymslip character had a baby when she was still at school 4) If she played her cards right I'd even consider leaving my wife for her (good job the wife doesn't read this... and if you are then I'm only joking!).... And the answer is.... look below to find out.
The smilie girlie helping out with the wheel chair is of course... the gorgeous and everyday more stunning Tina O'Brien a.k.a Sarah Platt. Pictures are by Manchester city centre based photographer Mark Campbell who captured Tina doing her good deed for the day.

Becky's taken a bolshy Kylie back to the Rovers but no-one is quite sure what to make of her. She's much the same as Becky was when she arrived on the street and while the Croppers are happy to give her a chance. Steve, Liz and Michelle are less welcoming - especially when she clocks Ciaran!
Eileen's confused by Owen's mixed signals but she's cheered when he offers some advice on how to get her landlord to drop the price of the house (he's selling up and Eileen wants to buy).
